Hi! I'm Jo. I live in the Southern Highlands, about 90 minutes south of Sydney, with my husband and three children. I have more than 25 years experience as a designer and educator.

I design and create quilts. My favourite part of the whole process is the 'dreaming', then the planning and choosing of fabric, obsessing wildly about colours and possibilities. Quilting is the creation of art, that just happens to feel absolutely beautiful.

Approach

Colour, graphic shapes, hand and machine making. The 70s child definitely lives in my quilts!

Zero waste

I don’t chuck anything away. No fabric or threads go into landfill. It all gets repurposed.

My goals

In 2026 I'm releasing my long-held pattern, Quiltabet, and continuing to develop my visual language.
